Sources close to UCLA players <strong>Kevin Love </strong>and <strong>Darren Collison </strong>say the two players have met with UCLA coach <strong>Ben Howland</strong> and told him they were going to enter the NBA draft.</p><p>Neither player has made an announcement because of Howland&#8217;s season-ending news conference today. Both are expected to hire agents, which would mean they could not return to UCLA next year.</p><p>Love, a freshman, averaged 17.5 points and 10.6 rebounds. He was a first-team All-American and Pacific-10 player of the year.</p><p><hr class="infobox-hr-separator" /> <div class="infobox"> <strong><span class="infobox-head">Other college news </span></strong><br /> &#8226;<strong>HIRED AT MARQUETTE</strong>: Buzz Williams, an assistant at Marquette last season, has been hired as head coach. He replaces Tom Crean, who took the Indiana job. Williams also was a former assistant for Billy Gillispie at Texas A&amp;M. Marquette athletic director Steve Cottingham said he was looking for a winner, not a recognizable name that might earn him a few pats on the back from fans.</p><p>&#8226;<strong>ALSO LEAVING</strong>: Other underclassmen who announced they would make themselves eligible for the NBA draft Tuesday include Alabama&#8217;s Ronald Steele (no agent), LSU freshman forward Anthony Randolph (no agent), Arizona sophomore Chase Budinger (agent status unknown) and Florida center Marreese Speights (no agent).</p><p></div>
