Lee's Summit West senior Monte Harrison has scored touchdowns in just about every way possible this season. He's run for nine, caught eight, passed for one and returned a punt for another. That's a total of 19 for the season.

In the middle of his dominate football season, the baseball honors keep pouring in.

Harrison was ranked this week as the 34th best high school baseball player in the nation by Perfect Game, an independent scouting service.

Harrison is committed to Nebraska, where he plans to play baseball and football. He is rated as a four-star wide receiver recruit by and the fourth best football player in the state overall.

On the baseball diamond, Harrison finished his junior season in the spring with a .457 average, six home runs and 33 RBIs in only 83 at-bats. He also hit 12 doubles and three triples, giving him 21 extra-base hits for the season.

In August, Harrison played in the Perfect Game All-America Classic at Petco Park in San Diego. Two weeks later, he played in the Under Armour All-America Game at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
