A day after the United States men’s national team defeated Ghana with a late goal in its World Cup opener — a play that started with a Graham Zusi corner kick — celebration videos have made their way across social media.

None of them can match a mother’s genuine exuberance.

Shirley and David Zusi — the parents of Graham — traveled to Brazil to watch their son play in his first World Cup.

Zusi entered the match Tuesday in the 77th minute, then assisted on John Brooks’ game-winning goal in the 86th minute.

The video features reaction from inside the stadium. Shirley and David enter the video at about the 29-second mark.
