• Former Kansas City goalkeeper Will Hesmer announced his retirement from the Columbus Crew on Tuesday. He missed all of last year after undergoing hip surgery and lost his job to Overland Park native Andy Gruenebaum. For his part, Gruenebaum
is looking to improve in 2013 on his stellar campaign last year.
