Rookie forward Dom Dwyer helped Sporting Kansas City's reserves get a result on the road with a late goal against Real Salt Lake.
The trip, KC's first of the 2012 MLS Reserve League campaign, ended in a 1-1 draw. Real Salt Lake, playing with three regular first-teamers, took the lead in the 58th minute off the boot of Nico Muniz. Dwyer got KC on the board in the 88th minute off a Korede Aiyegbusi pass.
Sporting Kansas City used every player that made the trip, including three players who saw action against New England on Saturday -- Lawrence Olum, Luke Sassano and Paulo Nagamura.

Bunbury officially added to U.S. Olympic qualifying roster
The 20-man roster for the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which begins on Thursday in Nashville, has been set. And Sporting's striker Teal Bunbury is on it.
"I'm honored and very excited for this opportunity. It's a once in a lifetime chance," Bunbury told SportingKC.com. "I'm ready to begin the tournament and make it past the group stage so I can play back in front of my home crowd."
Bunbury is one of six forwards and among the 14 MLS players selected. He's the second player in KC history to be selected for an Olympic Qualifying roster alongside Jose Luis Burciaga Jr. (2004).
The Olympic Qualifying Tournament will win up at Livestrong Sporting Park on March 31 (semifinals) and April 2 (championship).
