Major League Soccer and Fox Soccer Channel have renewed their partnership for 2011, with FSC showing 31 MLS games plus three MLS Cup playoff games exclusively. Sporting Kansas City's new stadium will be featured three times on FSC this season, with two games shifting from Saturday to Friday night.
The June 18th game against the San Jose Earthquakes moves to June 17 at 7:30 p.m. and the Sept. 24 game against the Philadelphia Union moves to Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m. The other televised game will be Aug. 13 when KC hosts the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Kansas City will now have four nationally televised home games, including the home opener on June 9 on ESPN2 (which starts at 9 p.m.).
All other KC games, including the five games broadcast on Spanish-language channels, will be shown live on KSMO-TV.
