Today, via Sporting Kansas City's official news outlet (i.e., Robb Heineman's twitter account), two more trialists were named: English defender Calum Butcher and Algerian winger Adda Djeziri.
The list of trialists joining Kansas City is now up to 6 we know by name and a few others that will come out soon (including the max-contract attacking midfielder from Europe).
Butcher, 19, is a product of the Tottenham academy who has yet to see much action in England. He's a big dude, 6'5".
Djeziri, 22, is a winger/striker who has bounced around spending time with Rangers, Portsmouth and was last with HB Koge in Denmark.
These two join Trinidad & Tobago defenders Daneil Cyrus and Sheldon Bateau, Gambian defender Omar Colley and Brazilian defender Julio Cesar Santos.
So far, the majority of the trial-gang are defenders (save Djeziri who fits another team need, right wing). And, it's a young bunch, well excluding Santos who is 32. Will be interesting to see who's there tomorrow and who isn't.
The Full 90 will have updates on Twitter during practice and a post or two here on the blog following tomorrow's first training session in front of the media.
