The Wizards have a double-dose of Texas this weekend, and they might be catching Houston and Dallas at very advantageous times.
For starters, Houston's coach, Dominic Kinnear, already signed off on the season. Now, the Houston Chronicle is reporting that Brian Ching (knee strain) could miss tomorrow's game
or at least be limited to a supporting role from the bench.
As for Saturday's game, Dallas will be without talisman Brek Shea (suspended for petulant behavior and confronting a referee last weekend) as well as captain Daniel Hernandez and goalkeeper Kevin Hartman.
Houston's injury report, in addition to Ching, features midfielder Anthony Obodai (knee surgery) and newly signed winger Colin Clark (knee surgery). Dallas' injury report, in addition to Hernandez and Hartman, shows defender Ugo Ihemelu (concussion) as out and defender George John (hamstring) as questionable.
The Wizards' injury report has one very familiar name, Zoltan Hercegfalvi (still recovering from a torn ACL), and never-used winger Jamar Beasley, who is doubtful with a groin strain.
