. Very little damage was done to Kansas City's slim (but still alive!) playoff chances.
With Kansas City sitting on 27 points from 22 games (and the weekend off), Toronto goes above the Wizards to 28 points from 23 games and Chicago sits behind them both at 26 points from 21 games.
When the weekend's MLS schedule comes to a close, Toronto will have played two more games than KC on the season and Chicago will have pulled even with the Wizards on games. All three teams trail San Jose and Seattle, who are tied at 32 points, for the 8th and final playoff spot. (Seattle will play its 24th game of the season Thursday against Real Salt Lake; San Jose will play its 22nd of the year Saturday against FC Dallas.)
In other news,Down the Byline reports that the Wizards have a Jamaican trialist, Kevin Wooley, in camp this week. He's a fullback who has never played outside of Jamaica.
