Wizards coach Peter Vermes said there will be unlimited substitutions in Sunday's exhibition game against Manchester United at Arrowhead Stadium.
That means a lot of players will get a chance to take the field, including forward Sunil Chhetri.
Since coming to the Wizards, Chhetri has appeared in one game -- a U.S. Open match against Colorado in April.
"In the three months I've been here, I've been working hard to understand the kind of game we play in Kansas City," Chhetri said. "It's been difficult, because I've been trying my best to acclimize. I'm excited. Not personally, but for the whole team and the whole of Kansas City and the whole of America. Man U is one of the best in the world. It should be a great experience for all of us."
Sunday's game should have the biggest crowd ever for a soccer game in Kansas City and Arrowhead will be rocking.
But Chettri has experience playing in front of large crowds. The Salt Lake Stadium in Koklata can hold up to 120,000.
"It's huge," Chettri said. "I've heard Americans are more decent than what we have in India. They are crazy. The matches are crazy. You have stones, fires all of that."
