The Wizards don't show up on the MLS fixture list today, but the second leg of an in-state "derby" is on the calendar.
Kansas City travels across state for a pair of games. The Rangers (or the Wizards reserves) will take on Evansville University at 5 p.m. and the majority of the senior side will take on USSF Division II side A.C. St. Louis at 7 p.m. The games will not be televised (and The Full 90 will not be there) so you can follow along at the team's official blog,Hillcrest Road
Midfielders Ryan Smith, Jack Jewsbury, Davy Arnaud and Stèphane Auvray all have minor knocks and aren't expected to feature.
The Wizards won the first leg at the Swope Park training facility 2-0 on March 19. St. Louis, which is a fairly well organized team on defense, isn't a very frightening team on offense. I predict a relatively easily 3-0 victory today, with goals coming from Zoltan Hercegfalvi, Craig Rocastle and Matt Besler.

Apologies for the light posting day yesterday, other work got in the way. But a few notable things happened.Claudio Lopez officially signed with the Colorado Rapids
. Here's a quote from Rapids boss Gary Smith.
“Any time you can add a talented player like Claudio to your club, the group becomes better. Claudio brings with him a tremendous amount of international experience at the highest levels and he has proven himself as a play-maker in our league. His presence and leadership in the changing room will be a valued asset to our club. Claudio will help us fulfill a lot of roles on this club and complement the talent we currently possess.”
