The Chiefs are expected to sign offensive tackle Ryan Harris, according to his Twitter account.

The Chiefs will need to create roster spots for Harris and linebacker Josh Mauga, who is also expected to sign, because they are currently carrying the maximum of 90 players on the roster.

Harris, 29, is a 6-foot-5, 302-pound offensive tackle who played 16 games with the Houston Texans last season, starting three. In 485 snaps, Harris logged a Pro Football Focus grade of negative-7.1.

A former third-round pick of the Broncos in 2007, Harris has played in 78 games over six seasons, logging 39 starts.
