The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has Chiefs fever.
In a news release, Sheriff Mike Sharp said while the Chiefs are still in the postseason, his officers can wear red or Chiefs hats if they want. And civilians in the office are allowed to wear Chiefs clothing any day of the week.
“I have always encouraged my team to get into the spirit and back our hometown teams,” Sharp said in the news release. “Last fall was electric watching our Kansas City Royals’ run through to the World Series. And our men and women in uniform were behind them every day wearing their blue. Now, it’s the Chiefs we will be supporting every day as they try to win it all.”
