Running back Charcandrick West, who has become the Chiefs rushing leader since filling in for Jamaal Charles, won’t play Sunday against the Bills.
West is on the inactive list, along with wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas, offensive guard Ben Grubbs, defensive lineman Allen Bailey, linebacker Dee Ford, quarterback Aaron Murray and defensive lineman David King.
West injured a hamstring in last week’s victory at San Diego. He’s rushed for 373 yards this season and three touchdowns.
Spencer Ware filled in last week and rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on 11 attempts. He’ll start against the Bills.
Thomas also was injured against the Chargers, suffering concussion.
Also, Frankie Hammond Jr., takes defensive back Saalim Hakim’s spot on the roster for depth at wide receiver.
The Bills announced seven inactives: quarterback Josh Johnson, wide receiver Marcus Easley, offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, offensive guards John Miller and Ryan Groy and defensive linemen Kyle Williams and Mario Williams.
