Running back Charcandrick West and wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas remained on the sidelines during Chiefs practice on Thursday.
West injured his calf and Thomas suffered concussionlike symptoms in the Chiefs’ victory at San Diego last Sunday. On Wednesday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he was optimistic both could play this Sunday against Buffalo at Arrowhead Stadium.
Offensive guard Ben Grubbs has been ruled out of the game. Others not working out Thursday were Dee Ford (back) and defensive end Allen Bailey (calf).
For the Bills, quarterback Tyrod Taylor was a limited participant on Thursday with a shoulder injury and is expected to play Sunday.
