Pro Bowl quarterback Alex Smith will conduct a youth camp June 7-8 at Shawnee Mission West.

Smith, who guided the Chiefs to the playoffs last season in first year with the Chiefs, will direct the two-day camp, which costs $149 — or $120 when using a Citi card — and is open to children entering first through eighth grades.

The camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will focus on football fundamentals.

Each camper will receive an autograph from Smith and a team photo with the Chiefs’ quarterback, who completed more than 60 percent of his passes for 3,313 yards with 23 touchdowns and only seven interceptions last season.

Smith will be joined by select high school and college coaches from the area.
