K-State tackle, NFL prospect Cornelius Lucas recovers from foot injury

Kansas State offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas, who didn’t participate in the NFL Combine because of a stress fracture in his foot, was given a clean bill of health Monday by a physician. Lucas’ agent, Marc Lillibridge, said his client will participate in K-State’s pro day April 28.

Kansas State offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas, who didn’t participate in the NFL Combine because of a stress fracture in his foot, was given a clean bill of health Monday by a physician.

Lucas’ agent, Marc Lillibridge, said his client will participate in K-State’s pro day April 28.

Lucas, a 6-foot-8, 330-pound two-year starter, has a massive frame with intimidating length — his arm length of 36 3/4 inches is elite. NFL.com’s Nolan Nawrocki projects Lucas as a potential late-round pick.
