A couple quick updates and video from Monday’s Chiefs training camp practice:
Safety Eric Berry left practice and was off to the side working with trainers and other injured players. So was cornerback Dunta Robinson, who appeared to tweak his hamstring Sunday. Berry also has a sore hamstring.
During a brief 11-on-11 session early in practice, Donald Stephenson got some work with the first team at left guard. He rotated in at the position, along with Geoff Schwartz. Both players are filling in for Jeff Allen, who injured his shoulder
Receiver Donnie Avery made a couple of nice catches on passes from Chase Daniel. The first was a slant in front of Neiko Thorpe, which he broke for a big gain, and the second was a diving catch near the sideline on an out route,
Ricky Stanzi had a pass picked off by cornerback Otha Foster, who returned it for what would have been a pick-six had the staff not whistled the play dead after the interception.
Also, here are a couple of videos of the Chiefs’ defensive line working on flowing to the ball.
