So Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe wants out of Kansas City? At least that's what Yahoo! Sports NFL reporter Jason Cole said in a Twitter message Wednesday night.
It's not exactly a surprise -- Bowe and the Chiefs were unable to agree on a long-term extension this offseason, and Bowe missed part of training camp until he reluctantly signed the Chiefs' one-year franchise tender of $9 million. Cole also said on Twitter that Bowe's feelings weren't exactly a revelation.
The NFL trade deadline is Oct. 30, right after the Chiefs return from their bye to face Oakland at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 28. But both Cole and the Palm Beach Post report that there are no trade discussions involving Bowe at the moment, at least not with the Miami Dolphins, who were speculated as a possible landing spot for Bowe.
Bowe has been targeted 66 times this season but has only 34 catches for 427 yards and three touchdowns during the Chiefs' 1-5 start.
