Members of the United We Ride Chapter of Kansas City on Saturday will hold the fourth annual Freedom Ride to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and Livestrong. The ride starts at 7 a.m. from Buffalo Wild Wings, 20110 East Jackson Drive, Independence. Cyclists of all ages can participate on courses ranging from one to 22 miles on the Little Blue Trace Trail or 35-100 miles on country roads in eastern Jackson County.
Former Chiefs punters Louie Aguiar and Kelly Goodburn will participate in the ride and will sign autographs and take pictures. All registrants will be entered into a drawing to win Aguiar’s Cannondale bike.
