Chiefs’ Eric Fisher, five others will sit preseason finale against Packers

Left tackle Eric Fisher (illness) is among the Chiefs players who have been scratched for their final preseason game Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers. The others: linebacker Joe Mays (wrist), defensive end Mike Catapano (illness), receiver Dwayne Bowe (quad), receiver Junior Hemingway (hip) and outside linebacker Tamba Hali (knee).

Left tackle Eric Fisher is among the Chiefs players who have been scratched for their final preseason game Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers.

Fisher missed practice Monday and Tuesday because of an illness. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he had a sore throat.

The others: linebacker Joe Mays (wrist), defensive end Mike Catapano (illness), receiver Dwayne Bowe (quad), receiver Junior Hemingway (hip) and outside linebacker Tamba Hali (knee).
