Dayton Moore explains why Royals didn’t make deal at trade deadline

Baseball’s non-waiver trading deadline came and went on Thursday afternoon, and the Kansas City Royals did not make a move. General manager Dayton Moore spoke with reporters for about 11 minutes before Thursday’s game, and explained the factors that hampered his ability to make a move. Here is the transcript:
