Jeff Francoeur is victim of another prank by his minor-league teammates

The San Diego Padres announced Wednesday that they will add outfielder Jeff Francoeur to their 25-man roster, selecting the contract of the 30-year-old outfielder from Class AAA El Paso.

Francoeur hit .294 with 15 home runs and 60 RBIs in 98 games with El Paso.

The Padres have not officially made the move, because they need to make a roster move to clear space for Francoeur.

Francoeur, who was with the Royals from 2011-13, may be glad to get away from his Chihuahua teammates in El Paso.

He was the victim of a great prank earlier this season. On Wednesday, El Paso first baseman Cody Decker released another YouTube video that showed poor Frenchy being picked on by his teammates again. This one’s not as good as the first.
