Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer tried to make a catch during Tuesday’s game at Tampa Bay, but the ball went through the webbing of his glove.

Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer might need a new glove.

In Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the Rays, Hosmer tried to snare a ball off the bat of Kevin Kiermaier, but it went through the webbing of his glove. Second baseman Omar Infante backed up the play and threw to Hosmer for the out.

Fox Sports’ Phantom Cam caught it in super slow motion.
