Alex Gordon scratched from Royals game because of flu-like symptoms

Kansas City outfielder Alex Gordon was scratched from Thursday’s game against the Tigers because of flu-like symptoms, according to the Royals. Gordon had started in left field in all 71 of the team’s previous games. Jarrod Dyson replaced Gordon in the field.
