Lineups: Nori Aoki rests as Royals look to stay in first place against Tigers

Royals outfielder Nori Aoki is available as a late-game substitution, but manager Ned Yost wanted to give him a day off. Aoki left Tuesday’s game because of a cramp in his left groin muscle. Here are Wednesday’s lineups as the Royals go for their 10th consecutive victory. The game against the Tigers in Detroit starts as 12:08 p.m., and can be seen on Fox Sports Kansas City.
