Omar Infante is in the Royals’ lineup for Monday’s game against the Mariners

After 11 days resting his sore right shoulder, Royals second baseman Omar Infante is slated to play five innings in the field on Monday afternoon. The team buses to Peoria to face the Mariners in a couple hours.

Here is the lineup, with James Shields on the mound:

1. Nori Aoki, RF.

2. Omar Infante, 2B.

3. Eric Hosmer, 1B.

4. Billy Butler, DH.

5. Alex Gordon, LF.

6. Salvador Perez, C.

7. Mike Moustakas, 3B.

8. Jason Donald, SS.

9. Jarrod Dyson, CF.


Everett Teaford, Kelvin Herrera and Tim Collins will pitch against Rangers minor-leaguers in a game on Tuesday morning.
