Catcher Brett Hayes is on a serious tear at Class AAA Omaha.
Hayes hit a walk-off home run in the 10th inning, his second of the game, as the Storm Chasers beat New Orleans 3-2 on Thursday night. It was the second two-homer game in as many days for Hayes.
Omaha trailed 2-1 when Hayes homered in the eighth inning to tie the game. Hayes also scored the game’s first run in the sixth inning when he reached on an error, took second after a sacrifice bunt and scored on a single by Christian Colon.
Hayes has 15 home runs at Omaha.
Storm Chasers starter Chris Dwyer allowed two runs (one earned) in 7 1/3 innings. He struck out three and walked two. Dwyer took a perfect game into the sixth inning, but it was broken up on a bunt single with one out.Class AA Northwest Arkansas
Sugar Ray Marimon gave up a solo homer in the second inning and a two-run shot in the fifth inning as the Naturals lost 3-2 at Springfield.
Northwest Arkansas was held to seven singles in the game.

Daniel Mateo’s grand slam in the fifth inning turned a deficit into a lead and the Blue Rocks went on to 7-4 win at Frederick.
Wilmington trailed 3-2 when it loaded the bases with two outs and Mateo delivered his grand slam. Every Blue Rocks starter had at least one hit and Yem Prades had three. Justin Trapp added two RBIs.
Starter Angel Baez, 2-1, allowed three runs on seven hits in five innings with four walks and two strikeouts. Daniel Hernandez gave up just one hit in three scoreless innings with two walks and two strikeouts.
Cody Fassold allowed a run in the ninth.Class A Lexington
Zeb Sneed gave up a game-tying home run, a triple and three runs total in the 12th inning in a 6-3 loss to Augusta.
Lexington led 2-1 after five innings, but Augusta scored twice in the sixth and took a 3-2 lead. In the bottom of the inning, Raul Mondesi coaxed a bases-loaded walk that tied the game 3-3 and it stayed that way until the 12th.
Bubba Starling had three hits, including a double, and an RBI. Terrance Gore stole his 66th base of the season.
Starter Crawford Simmons gave up one run on four hits in five innings with five strikeouts and one walk.Rookie-Advanced Idaho Falls
The Chukars hit a home run in each of the first four innings and beat Billings 10-3.
Cody Stubbs hit a two-out, two-run shot in the first inning, Alexis Rivera had a solo shot in the second, Humberto Arteaga had a solo shot in the third inning and Daniel Rockett added a two-run shot in the fourth.
Stubbs had two hits and four RBIs, while Arteaga had a double in addition to his home run. Rivera and Elier Hernandez each had two hits.
Starter Jonathan Dziedzic gave up two hits in 3 2/3 shutout innings.Rookie Burlington
Zach Lovvorn allowed five runs on eight hits in three innings and the Royals lost 7-4 to Johnson City.
Andrew Ayers had three hits, including a triple, and scored a run for Burlington. Alfredo Escalera-Maldonado added two hits and scored a run.
