Christian Binford and Class A Lexington are on a roll.
The Legends won their eighth straight on Monday night, beating Greenville 8-1. Every Lexington starter had at least one hit, with shortstop Raul Mondesi and designated hitter Cameron Gallagher collecting two.
Terrance Gore scored twice and stole his 54th base of the year.
Binford allowed one run on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts in six innings as his ERA fell to 2.00. In his last 10 starts, Binford has a 1.27 ERA with 61 strikeouts and just nine walks.Rookie-Advanced Idaho Falls
Hunter Dozier’s RBI double broke a tie in the eighth inning and the Chukars went on to a 5-2 win over Missoula.
It was 2-2 when Humberto Arteaga led off the eighth with a walk and took second after a sacrifice bunt. Dozier then doubled home Arteaga, too third on a wild pitch and scored after an error by catcher Jose Queliz.
Zane Evans followed with a double and took third on Cody Stubbs’ single. Frank Schwindel singled home Evans to make it 5-2.
Dozier has four doubles in a six-game hitting streak and has 15 two-baggers on the season.
Idaho Falls was held scoreless for six innings, but Evans’ two-run homer in the seventh put the Chukars ahead 2-1. However, Missoula scored a run off Zeb Seed in the top of the eighth and tied the game.
That merely set the stage for Idaho Falls’ rally.
Starter Patrick Conroy allowed one run on six hits in five innings. He walked four and struck out two. Kyle Bartsch gave up a run in the ninth but picked up his first save.Class AAA Omaha

Starter Everett Teaford allowed one run on four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts in five innings. Maikel Cleto relieved and gave up three runs on six hits in three innings.
Danny Duffy was supposed to start Monday’s game, but was scratched for an unspecified reason and is expected to pitch Tuesday.Class AA Northwest Arkansas
Jason Adam allowed eight runs in 4 1/3 innings as the Naturals lost 10-3 to Arkansas.
Adam, 4-10, gave up nine hits, walked one and struck out five.

In his first start since being assigned from Northwest Arkansas, J.C. Sulbaran gave up three runs in three innings and the Blue Rocks’ bullpen fell apart in a 9-4 loss at Carolina.
Sulbaran allowed seven hits without a walk and he struck out four times.
Cody Fassold relieved and allowed six runs on seven hits in 2 1/3 innings with two walks and three strikeouts.

Designated hitter Tyler Chism walked three times, knocked in two runs and hit a home run in his only official at-bat as the Royals won 6-1 against Pulaski.
Right fielder Alex Newman had two hits and three RBIs while first baseman Sam Bates had two hits and scored twice.
Jake Newberry gave up one run on two hits in six innings with a walk and seven strikeouts. Sam Lewis, 2-2, relieved and tossed three shutout innings (two hits, one walk, three strikeouts).
