We’ve all come to expect that when a team makes a selection in a draft, that it will share a photo of the player on social media.
Often it comes with a welcome greeting.
But what if the team trades its pick away. That’s what Sporting Kansas City did Thursday at the MLS SuperDraft when it sent the No. 11 overall pick to D.C. United for targeted allocation money. For a primer on what that is, Sam McDowell has a good explaination.
