Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie grew up in Oregon, so there’s no question about his loyalties ahead of Thursday’s Rose Bowl.
The Ducks are taking on Florida State in the first College Football Playoff and Guthrie will be cheering on Oregon. The school even sent Guthrie a jersey with his No. 11 and his Twitter handle for his name:
