Four Missouri teams and two teams each from Kansas State and Wichita State were recognized Wednesday by the NCAA for Academic Progress Rates in 2014-2015 that ranked in the top 10 percent of their respective sports.
The Tigers’ men’s golf and women’s swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball programs, along with the Wildcats’ women’s cross country and men’s golf teams, the Shockers’ women’s golf and volleyball teams and the Missouri State men’s soccer team had APR scores in the top 10 percent. The complete APR listings for 2014-2015 will be released April 20.
No University of Kansas teams received recognition. The Jayhawks’ men’s basketball team had eight straight finishes in the top 10 percent.
The latest APR honor is the seventh straight for the Wichita State volleyball team.
