Former Kansas power forward Tarik Black went undrafted during Thursday’s NBA Draft in Brooklyn. But he will have an opportunity to prove himself this summer.

Black has signed on to play in the Orlando and Las Vegas summer leagues with the Houston Rockets, his agency, Sports International Group, said Saturday. Black, a burly 6-foot-9 forward, spent one season at Kansas after playing his first three years at Memphis.

Black will be joined on the Rockets’ summer league team by former Mizzou guard Jabari Brown.
