The annual Missouri Basketball Awards Dinner and Social is set for April 16 at 7 p.m. at Mizzou Arena.
Missouri went 23-12 last season and reached the postseason for a sixth straight season, losing to Southern Mississippi in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament.
“This will be a more interactive event than we have had in years past,” Tigers coach Frank Haith said in a release from the school. “We will have autographs, pictures, dinner and a light program. Our biggest enhancement is more time between our fans and our student-athletes. This will be a fun way to recap the season and look forward to the future.”
Missouri juniors Jabari Brown, a first-team All-SEC pick who led the conference in scoring at 19.9 points per game, and Jordan Clarkson, who averaged 17.5 points, will be in attendance along with other players.
Clarkson has declared for the NBA Draft and signed with an agent, while Brown also declared for the draft but hasn’t signed with an agent and has until April 15 to decide if he will return to the Tigers.
Fans can purchase tickets, which cost $35 for the general public and $5 for students, through the Mizzou athletics ticket office by calling 800-228-7297 or emailing Ryan Maris firstname.lastname@example.org. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
