Missouri State to play in postseason tournament

Missouri State has been chosen for the 32-team Tournament and will play host to Murray State in a first-round game at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday in Springfield.

The Bears, 20-12, won the second-annual CIT in 2010. The Racers are 18-11. Complete CIT pairings for the CIT will be released Sunday.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Missouri State athletics box office in JQH Arena, by phone at 417-836-7678 or online at

. Tickets are $10 for all lower-level seats, $5 for upper-level and bleacher seats, and free for all Missouri State students with a valid ID. Loge and courtside tickets are available for purchase by phone or in person at JQH for $20.

All current Bears season-ticket holders will have until 5 p.m. Monday to purchase tickets before their seats are released for sale to the general public.
