Central Missouri, UMKC women’s soccer players honored

• Central Missouri forward Becky Lackey was chosen as the offensive player of the week in women’s soccer by the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association. Lackey scored two goals and had an assist in two games last week and leads the Jennies with 24 points.
• UMKC’s Taylor Bare was chosen to the Western Athletic Conference women’s soccer first team and Kangaroos junior defender Kaely Tott and junior midfielder Alyssa Elver, a Blue Valley West grad, made the second team. Bare scored a school-record 13 goals, which led the conference.
