The Missouri men’s basketball team will face Gardner-Webb, IUPUI, Northwestern and Nevada in the Las Vegas Invitational this fall.
Pairings for the event, announced Tuesday, match the Tigers against Gardner-Webb on Nov. 23 and IUPUI on Nov. 25. Both of those games will be in Columbia at Mizzou Arena.
MU then heads to Las Vegas to play Northwestern on Nov. 28 — Thanksgiving night — and Nevada on Nov. 29.
The Tigers have played Northwestern seven times, but not since 1968. Mizzou and Nevada have never met.
Missouri opens the season Nov. 8 at home against Southeastern Louisiana, then plays host to Southern Illinois on Nov. 12.
The Tigers make a stop in Kansas City to play Hawaii at Sprint Center on Nov. 16 before kicking off the Las Vegas Invite versus Gardner-Webb.
The remainder of MU’s non-conference schedule includes home games against UCLA, West Virginia and Long Beach State and road showdowns at Illinois and North Carolina State.
