Most of Missouri’s 2013 football recruiting class is on campus, with the exception of a handful of players.
Chad Moller, a MU associate athletic director, said 17 of 21 members of the class have already reported for summer school, including two-star prospect DeQuinton Osborne, who becamea late addition to the class
in early June. Moller said defensive tackle Josh Augusta and junior college safety Duron Singleton haven’t reported yet due to eligibility issues, but was optimistic both players will arrive soon.
Singleton, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound three-star prospect from Fresno City Community College, could figure into the mix this season at a position where the Tigers are seeking more production.
Augusta, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound three-star prospect according to Rivals, is one of the Tigers’ highest-rated prospects in the class and one of five defensive tackles the Tigers signed, along with Osborne, A.J. Logan of Columbia Rock Bridge, Nate Crawford of West Florida Tech, and Antar Thompson of Maplewood Richmond Heights.
Thompson will join Fort Zumwalt South running back Chase Abbington — the only four-star prospect in the Tigers’ 2013 class —at Hutchinson Community College this fall.
