The new women’s lacrosse program at Rockhurst has a coach. Brianne Duvall, who had been the assistant varsity coach at St. Teresa’s the past two years, will lead the Hawks in their first season next spring.

“Brianne has done a great job in working with young lacrosse players,” said Rockhurst director of athletics Gary Burns. “She is excited about starting a new program. She already has made a lot of valuable connections in the Kansas City area.”

Duvall, a native of Hampstead, Md., played at NCAA Division III Elizabethtown (Pa.) College before transferring to Virginia Tech, where she was captain of the club team.
