LAWRENCE — The Kansas football program picked up a late addition to its 2013 recruiting class on Sunday, when junior college cornerback Brandon Hollomon verbally committed to KU coach Charlie Weis.
The news, which was first reported by Rivals.com, came after Hollomon took a weekend visit to Kansas. Hollomon played this past season at Pierce Community College, and will join fellow Pierce products Marquel Combs, a defensive lineman, and Marcus Jenkins-Moore, a linebacker, in KU's 2013 class. In addition, Ty Greenwood, who spent the past six years at Pierce as an assistant coach, also joined the KU staff in February in a defensive quality control position.
Hollomon will have four years to play three seasons at Kansas. He'll arrive on campus this summer.
