Kansas returned to the top 10 in The Associated Press poll.
The Jayhawks are No. 9 after a 2-0 week that included victories over Kansas State and Texas. The Wildcats are No. 13 and Oklahoma State is No. 14.
The teams held the same ranking in the USA Today coaches' poll. The top three _ Indiana, Miami, Fla., and Gonzaga were the same in both polls. The AP had Michigan State fourth and Florida fifth, the coaches had the Gators fourth and the Spartans fifth.
Kansas, Kansas State and Oklahoma State entered the week tied for the Big 12 lead with 9-3 records. The Wildcats play host to West Virginia tonight.
The Jayhawks travel to Oklahoma State on Wednesday. The Cowboys defeated KU earlier this season at Allen Fieldhouse and will go for the regular season sweep.
Kansas hasn’t been swept in a regular-season series since 2001, when Iowa State beat the Jayhawks twice. Since then, KU has swept 49 opponents and has split the season series with 12 opponents.
