Well, it's Missouri-Arkansas week, so let the hype begin. During the Southeastern Conference coaches conference call on Monday, Arkansas coach Mike Anderson - who left Missouri for Fayetteville in March 2011 - was asked for his thoughts on facing his former team at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Tigers feature a pair of players (senior Laurence Bowers and junior Phil Pressey) that Anderson recruited to Missouri.

“First and foremost, I’m not going look past Auburn (this Wednesday)," Anderson said. "But playing against Missouri and some of my former players...it's not only that but they’re in my family. That’s going to be hardest part."

Bowers' uncle, Arlyn Bowers, played for Anderson and Nolan Richardson at Arkansas in the late 80s. Pressey's father, Paul Pressey, played with Anderson at Tulsa in the early 80s. Those prior relationships played in a role in both players committing to play for Anderson at Missouri.

"There’s probably going to be some emotion on their part," Anderson said of Bowers and Pressey. "I'm very aware of what they're capable of doing and what they’ve done in their careers at Missouri."
