LAWRENCE — A flurry of KU anniversaries will intersect on Feb. 23 at Allen Fieldhouse, when Kansas plays host to its 115th-year celebration and honors the 25th anniversary of its 1988 NCAA title team.
Former Kansas coaches and players will be recognized at halftime of the game, and the current KU squad will wear retro 1988 uniforms in the Saturday afternoon matchup with TCU. The anniversaries also come as the NCAA prepares to hold its 75th NCAA Tournament, and Kansas celebrates the fifth season since its third NCAA title in 2008.
Among the KU legends already scheduled to attend: former All-American guard JoJo White, who will hold a book signing in the Booth Family Hall of Athletics before the game.
