Kansas State (11-1) vs. Oregon (11-1)
7:30 p.m. in Glendale, Ariz.
On the morning of Nov. 17, this was the BCS National Championship Game. But the Wildcats lost at Baylor and the Ducks at home to Stanford, changing both teams’ paths. Oregon’s fast-break offense has produced one of the nation’s top ground games, led by running back Kenjon Barner (1,624 yards, 21 touchdowns). K-State doesn’t beat itself. The Wildcats lead the nation in turnover margin (Oregon is third), and are tied for second nationally in fewest penalty yards per game.
•Prediction: Oregon 35-31
