KU holds steady, Mizzou advances in hoop polls

Kansas remained seventh in both major college basketball polls, and Missouri advanced in The Associated Press and USA Today coaches polls.
The Tigers jumped one spot to No. 14 in the AP poll and two spots to No. 15 in the coaches poll from their preseason rankings.
