Dana Stubblefield, 1990-92: A defensive tackle, Stubblefield racked up 17 career sacks, including 10 in 1991. Was the MVP of the 1992 Aloha Bowl. Finished with 53 1/2 career sacks in a long NFL career.
Charlton Keith, 2004-05: A key fixture during KU’s revival in the mid-2000s, Keith had nine sacks in 2005. Perhaps KU’s best defensive end of the last 15 years.
Ron Warner, 1996-97: An Independence, Kan., native, Warner set KU’s single-season sack mark with 141/2 in 1997.
Algie Atkinson, 1998-2001: The Jayhawks’ career sack leader might be a surprise: It’s Atkinson, who finished with 24 while playing for a string of bad teams during the Terry Allen era.
Tom Dinkel, 1974-77: In a more pass-heavy era, Dinkel might have been a destructive pass-rushing force. The Topeka native played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1978-85.
