Lorenzo Cain sits as Royals open four-game series with Minnesota

Lorenzo Cain has his second day off in a row, as Royals manager Ned Yost favored starting Jarrod Dyson in center field. Cain is 1-for-6 in his career with three strikeouts against Twins starter Ricky Nolasco.

The Royals begin a four-game set here at Target Field on Friday night. Here are the lineups as Danny Duffy (7-10, 2.57 ERA) faces Nolasco (5-7, 5.90 ERA):
