FISHING REPORT

Missouri

•NORFORK: 62 degrees, fairly clear, 11 feet high. Outlook:Bink’s reports: stripers good on Bink’s Spoons in 50 to 60 feet of water near Highway 62 Bridge; crappies, bass good on jigs, minnows in 40 feet of water in the brush piles.

LAKE OF THE OZARKS: 64 degrees, clear, 1 foot low. Outlook:Gier’s Bass Pro reports: crappies very good on jigs, minnows in 4 feet of water along the condo docks.

•BLUE SPRINGS: 55 degrees, clear, near normal. Outlook:Forty Woods Bait and Tackle reports: hybrids good on fresh shad along the dam.

•TANEYCOMO: 50 degrees, clear, heavy power generation. Outlook: Lilley’s Landing reports: rainbow trout good on No. 10 scud flies on drift rigs in the trophy area and on worms, PowerBait below Fall Creek.

•TRUMAN: 61 degrees, fairly clear, murky, 8 feet high. Outlook: Sterett Creek Marina reports: hybrids fair to good on jigging spoons in 15 feet of water at the weir. Below the dam: Rocky Top: heavy generation; catfish good on cut shad; hybrids fair on slab spoons, crankbaits.

•JACOMO: 55 degrees, clear, normal. Outlook: Forty Woods Bait and Tackle reports: crappies good on jigs, minnows off the marina docks; catfish fair on shad sides lakewide.

•SMITHVILLE:56 degrees, clear, 2 feet high. Outlook: Burton’s Bait and Tackle reports: white bass fair to good on jigging spoons, jigs off windy points.

STOCKTON:60 degrees, clear, 4 feet high. Outlook:Guide Bob Bennett reports: walleyes fair on crankbaits in 8 to 10 feet of water off main-lake points; bass fair to good on crankbaits in the back of coves and creeks; crappies fair on jigs in 18 feet of water in the brush.

•JAMES A. REED: 52 degrees, clear, full pool. Outlook: Missouri Department of Conservation reports: crappies good on jigs under bobbers over the brush.

•BULL SHOALS: 62 degrees, clear, 16 feet high. Outlook:125 Marina reports: bass fair early on spinnerbaits in newly flooded brush.

LONGVIEW: 55 degrees, 24-inch clarity, 1 foot low. Outlook: Longview Lake Marina reports: crappies fair on jigs, minnows off the marina docks.

POMME DE TERRE: 60 degrees, slightly murky, 4 feet high. Outlook: Nemo Landing reports: crappies fair on minnows near the timber and bridge pillars; bass fair on plastic worms off main-lake points.

TABLE ROCK: 61 degrees, clear, normal. Outlook: Indian Point Marina reports: bass fair on spinnerbaits, crankbaits.

Kansas

•LA CYGNE: 65 degrees, clear, 2 feet high. Outlook:Linn County Parks reports: white bass good on shad imitations at the hot-water outlet and on the flats on the west side; largemouth bass good on plastic baits lakewide; crappies good on jigs in the brush; channel catfish good on shad, liver lakewide.

•MILFORD: 56 degrees, clear, 2 feet high. Outlook: Clem’s Corner reports: white bass, wipers fair on jigging spoons along windy, rocky banks in the evening; walleyes fair on crankbaits off the points; catfish good on crawdads, liver, stinkbaits.

•HILLSDALE: 54 degrees, clear, 1 foot high. Outlook: Jayhawk Marina reports: crappies good on chartreuse jigs in 15 feet of water in the brush.

•CLINTON: 53 degrees, clear, 2 feet high. Outlook: Clinton Lake Marina reports: crappies good (but small) on jigs, minnows off the docks.
