Kansas Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters helped give out 250 frozen turkeys and canned goods for a family to fix a Thanksgiving meal at Gregg/Klice Community Center, 1600 John Buck O’Neil Way in Kansas City. Students from the Lincoln College Preparatory Academy football team also volunteered during the event sponsored by Peters’ Oakland based Fam1st Family Foundation that was titled “It Takes A Village Turkey Distribution,” and included appearances by teammates Eric Berry and Spencer Ware.
