Justin Houston, coming off a monster game against the Broncos, didn’t practice Thursday because of a shoulder injury.
Houston was injured in the second quarter of the 30-27 overtime victory Sunday in Denver but played after halftime. He finished with three sacks and 10 tackles in his second game back from a knee injury. Houston was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.
Also not practicing Thursday was nose tackle Dontari Poe, for the second straight day, because of a back injury.
Others who practiced on a limited basis: wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (groin), linebackers Tamba Hali (knee) and Dee Ford (hamstring), wide receiver Chris Conley (Achilles), Kendall Reyes (knee) and offensive tackle Mitchell Schwartz (ankle). Maclin and Ford returned to practice Wednesday.
